Over Labor Day weekend, we went to Hvar, Croatia with our newlywed friends Mike and Anne. The weather was warm and sunny and the food was great. Croatia is unlike anywhere I've ever been. It's made of up little islands, much like Greece, but it also has hints of French and Italian cuisine. Hvar is a harbor town so it has glamourous yachts and tourists, but it's much more laid back than say St. Tropez or Monocco. We had a blast and even rented a boat for the day where we got to see blue and green grottos and swim in different parts of the Adriatic Sea. Also, our room was tiny so we got an upgrade the second night. To our surprise they told us that Kevin Spacey had stayed in the room the night before. Strangely enough he broke the sink. I wonder what kind of funny business he was up to....
